You people are batshit crazyI see you edited your post Klaus ( I saw what you posted originally). I said DC because honestly I think you tried to single her out because of her race. When you go play around on your waffle house simulator Blackstone grill this weekend I really hope it doesn't flare up.
Uh oh.What do you mean "you people"
Where did I attack you? Please be specific.Sad when you start attacking people over ideas you don’t like. typical fascist lib
Pretty sure you said that you hoped my grill flared up on me, though you sarcastically said the opposite. Weird shit.Where did I attack you? Please be specific.
Ok loser. Time for bedWrong. I hoped it didn't flare up. You're the one conjuring bad juju.
Made this for youOk loser. Time for bed
Comes out in April. So, ahh, is the Documentary any good?
So is this okay to watch with the wife or will she be digging into every tiny insecurity asking why we aren’t as perfect together and as outwardly in love as Jason and Amanda….asking for a friend.Just wrapped it up
Thought it was really well done. People like Isbell who have been through so much are always fascinating to me. As someone who’s lived a fairly charmed life (especially compared to him), these types of docs are so eye-opening
I also thought the way he and his wife talked to each other and their relationship was so powerful. Def recommend the watch
Lol, it’s not that kind of relationship that (IMO) would make someone’s SO insecure. My SO and I watched it, and we both were blown away by their relationship, but it was more of a thank god they have each other type thing, not an I wish we were as perfect as themSo is this okay to watch with the wife or will she be digging into every tiny insecurity asking why we aren’t as perfect together and as outwardly in love as Jason and Amanda….asking for a friend.
after you watch the doc, listen to his new tune “Middle of the Morning.”So is this okay to watch with the wife or will she be digging into every tiny insecurity asking why we aren’t as perfect together and as outwardly in love as Jason and Amanda….asking for a friend.
If anything, the documentary shows how far from perfect they are together. It’s a strong relationship, but it highlights some difficult stuff. So is this okay to watch with the wife or will she be digging into every tiny insecurity asking why we aren’t as perfect together and as outwardly in love as Jason and Amanda….asking for a friend.
Well, I did listen to the most recent one several times. It did absolutely nothing for me. The Nashville Sound was awesome. It had attitude. The most recent one sounded too whiny and serious, imo. There isn't a single song on there that stood out to me, through several listens.People posting that he's fallen off on the last few albums cannot have listened to those albums. The Nashville Sound (2017) is absolutely incredible, there are no skips on that album. Tupelo, Vampires, Chaos & Clothes...all incredible songs. I also love Reunions (2020). Go listen to Dreamsicle and tell me that's not a phenomenal song. Same with Only Children and especially River.
You can't bite the hand that feeds you. You're options are limited. His new single is absolutely horrible. Sad to see the woke mind virus ruin somebody’s career. Reminds me of Howard Stern.
This is what surprised me and was honestly the most disappointing part. I'd love to know the backstory on why it was just released. It was such a COVID-centric doc, almost the entire second half revolved around it that it felt sort of dated and out-of-touch. I don't know if it got caught up in production hell or what, but it should've come out a year ago, felt weird watching it now.I didn't realize that the doc followed him while recording his 2019 album Reunion...I thought is was going to follow the songs he is releasing now
awesome to see them build Dreamsicle, Be Afraid, etc
but the real highlight was the deep dive into Drive By Truckers...crazy how young he was and he had that baby face....wrote Decoration Day the fourth day of being part of the band...just crazy!
Covid never ended for the liberals. They will love that part. This is what surprised me and was honestly the most disappointing part. I'd love to know the backstory on why it was just released. Still really good but that part felt really dated.
The director says in the article linked below that from the start of COVID until HBO acquired the rights to the doc was nearly 2.5 years. This is what surprised me and was honestly the most disappointing part. Made this for you
Only disagreeing because it's Creed. That song peaked at 70 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1999.I'm sure it didn't influence many people. It's still pretty obnoxious.
Anyway, since somebody brought up the way cultural politics have changed in the last 20 years, this song was one of the top rock singles in 1999:
Affirmative may be justified
Take from one, give to another
The goal is to be unified
Take my hand, be my brother
The payment silenced the masses
Sanctified by oppression
Unity took a back seat
Sliding further into regression
One, oh, one, the only way is one
One, oh, one, the only way is one
I feel angry, I feel helpless
Want to change the world, yeah
I feel violent, I feel alone
Don't try and change my mind, no
Society, blind by color
Why hold down one to raise another?
Discrimination, now on both sides
Seeds of hate blossom further
The world is headed for mutiny
When all we want is unity
We may rise and fall
But in the end, we'll meet our fate again, oh
Yikes. In this thread you’ll learn who is low key Racist and homo/transphobic. They’ll be the ones lamenting Isbell selling his musical soul to the Devil of Wokeness.
That’s a very serious accusation. I suggest deleting this post.Yikes.
I am a conservative economically and politically, but the only thing I learned in this thread is that Klaus was at the Capital that fateful day and he is now blocked from any future threads.
Yes, but it finished the year as the top mainstream rock song and #6 for modern rock.Only disagreeing because it's Creed. That song peaked at 70 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1999.
You seem like a joy to be around. I imagine your wife’s boyfriend probably gets laid a lot.Covid never ended for the liberals. They will love that part.
That seems like a really gay thing to imagineYou seem like a joy to be around. I imagine your wife’s boyfriend probably gets laid a lot.
please tell me you're a troll to figure out how much racist shit you can say on here without getting banned. That seems like a really gay thing to imagine
Could it get any more woke than that? No
