Blatant insubordination.

I specifically ordered all employees and their families to get a flu shot. No exceptions. This morning, I overheard her telling another of my subordinates that her son had the flu. I immediately ordered her and our HR administrator into my office and told her to pack her things. Fridays are usually the best days to fire people, but she didn't want to go easy. She tried to give me some BS about an egg allergy and "developmental delays" blah blah blah, but I wasn't really listening. We are at an EPIDEMIC now because of morons like her and others who refuse to get this life-saving vaccine.

If only vaccination rates were 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999%...

There wouldn't be anymore communicable diseases.

you may want to lawyer up - this may not end well for you

My b-ball coach made our entire team get flu shots back in the day. He didn’t want us missing games bc of being sick.

Why can’t an employer do the same thing?

Are you asking why an employer can't mandate an employee put a drug in his/her body? If so, I had higher hopes for you based on your posting history.

That showed a lot of maturity on your part. It was also very mature to post it on a board that you upset someone’s livelihood today because YOU think this is a good idea. Unbelievable if this is true. I hope I never have to work in that environment. Your development and caring of your employees is nonexistent.

Yea, why not?

Heck why can't an employer force you to get an abortion or a vasectomy? Companies don't want any workers missing time because of being preggers or having children.
