FWIW, a few busloads of immigrants were sent to Martha's Vineyard, MA unannounced, and everyone of them was taken care of and then some.
On the other hand, it's pretty lame that the clown governor of Texas would use poor vulnerable people for political grandstanding. He could have done what Obama did and just send them back where they came from. It's closer and cheaper.

It’s the purposeful destruction of the country. There is no other explanation when you look at the devastation the open border causes. It is pure evil. Over 100,000 fentanyl deaths a year and at least 80% of it comes across the purposely open border. 50,000 violent assaults a year and 15,000 of thise violent rapes by illegal aliens. Over 2,000 murders a year by illegals. Thousand of young women and girls sold into sex slavery. The Cartel controls our border and makes billions and kills thousands of Mexicans every year. The Dems know all this as well as the Republicans but the border is deliberately kept open. They are destroying this country and they know it. It’s obvious to anyone with an open mind who knows these numbers. A nation without borders is not a nation and that’s exactly what they want.

They were put on transportation out the following day. The Vineyard said they (like Texas) lacked the resources to provide proper care, so they moved the problem to a new location.

Oh, and it wasn't the Governor of Texas who sent them to Martha's Vineyard. Stop getting your news from Rachel Maddow

Not sure it’s as expensive as what all the illegals are costing the tax payers of the US. The wall is a start. I haven’t visited the border like most of the politicians but from what I have read most of the wall was already paid for and the material is rusting on the ground. Tax payer dollars wasted again.
