I am looking into taking my 16yo son out to Eugene for the track & field championship. It looks like everything books up quick. Has anyone gone before and stayed outside of Eugene, which areas are the best to stay that are not too far out? I am assuming I would have to rent a car unless I can find a place that has transportation? Any advice would be appreciated.
