I really like my current Primary Care Doctor when I actually see him. But he is part of the Bons Secours network and dealing with his office staff and phone system is completely maddening. You can't get a live person on the phone in his office. You are going to talk to India and all they can do is try and schedule an appointment. No way to ask questions about medications or anything else. Sure you can leave a message but it's never returned. When you do ask to be transferred to his office you are put on hold until someone eventually cuts off the call without ever answering. If you finally give up and make an appointment you are looking at 3 to 4 months to get in the door. I've tried communicating through My Chart and never had a single reply to messages I've sent. I'm a generally healthy person but when I do have a medical concern, I would like to be able to talk to a live person that's actually in my doctor's office.
Is there any Primary Care Physician's that you could recommend that are thorough and competent but also have good front office staff?
