Gents - anyone own or have experience with RecTeq’s DualFire 1200 grill? I’m pretty inexperienced smoking/slow cooking (more of a high temp/steak and burger griller) but want to get into it. My propane grill is on its last leg and I’ve been looking into making a switch to a pellet grill. The RecTeq DualFire appears to be best of both worlds, having separate indirect and direct heat chambers - providing the ability to seer at high heat on one side and slow cook/smoke on the other.
I know there’s a lot of great pellet grills out there, but haven’t seen any that have two chambers like this. Curious if it’s worth the cost and if folks think the direct heat chamber is sufficient size for grilling 4-5 steaks at a time? Would love to hear anyone’s feedback that has one of these - or general thoughts from the grilling experts out there. Thanks in advance!
