Just wrapped up season 2. Big sci fi / future guy and really like the series.
I liked how season 2 wrapped up but man, it left a ton still. It sounds like nuclear war happened and that is why it is not safe to go out, but that still does not explain the silos. Those had to take years to make and no real way to get folks down there in an event.
Why did Lucas flip out when he knows just to keep things quiet and the safeguard will not kick in. Same with Bernard. Is it because they know they are not in control and the AI is?
Also, I really want to know what’s in the tunnel where Lucas was confronted about the safeguard. And why even have the safeguard? Did the safeguard happen when the last rebellion happened and somehow the silo was repopulated?
Next, why Sims’ wife could stay and not his son or himself? The AI knows like a POS?
That left so much to still ponder. Would love to hear some of y’all’s thoughts.
Are the books follow each season? If so, that might be my next series to read.
Man, looking forward to the next season, but also can’t wait to watch Severance. Loved the season 2 opener.
