1 & 2 have sure been in conflict this past year. It seems like the market knows how crucial it is to the security and wellbeing of our country and holds leverage over the fed For example, just the pension funds and retirement accounts, and much more.
Currently the market is not listening to fed speak or factoring in the rate increases. This will be interesting to watch as the day to day pivot talks continue.
