This has been my concern from the beginning.
Trump and I are now together on the freer trade with the EU team. Just like we're together on the deescalation with Russia team and other issues. I've already given an opinion as to why his pivot back towards my position doesn't even make sense as a "negotiating tactic," but I'm not engaging in the pissing match anymore.
Anyway, I'd rather argue on my own and be wrong than mindlessly follow a politician who changes his opinions, and in turn yours, like the weather.
Why? Are we supposed to feel thankful that he's "temporarily" half-way fixing a problem he created?

The really sad part, too, is that the chuds can't comprehend the damage that Trump's illogical baboon behavior creates in terms of prospective partners wanting to invest in future projects in America. Based on the lack of respect that China has shown to the World’s Markets, I am hereby raising the Tariff charged to China by the United States of America to 125%, effective immediately. At some point, hopefully in the near future, China will realize that the days of ripping off the U.S.A., and other Countries, is no longer sustainable or acceptable. Conversely, and based on the fact that more than 75 Countries have called Representatives of the United States, including the Departments of Commerce, Treasury, and the USTR, to negotiate a solution to the subjects being discussed relative to Trade, Trade Barriers, Tariffs, Currency Manipulation, and Non Monetary Tariffs, and that these Countries have not, at my strong suggestion, retaliated in any way, shape, or form against the United States, I have authorized a 90 day PAUSE, and a substantially lowered Reciprocal Tariff during this period, of 10%, also effective immediately. Here's what's happening tonight with the US10yr and Chinese yuan.
In short: US treasury yields are rising because China has become a forced seller of UST in order to defend the collapsing yuan.
All Trump has to do is keep increasing the tariffs and this will put the yuan in a death spiral as the CCP is forced to continue selling UST in order to prop up the yuan.
It's checkmate. Bessent won.
China will be forced to make a deal.
I took the day off but yes I am very concerned about the 10 year yield climbing.
We essentially are in a currency hot war and so all bets are off.
The interest rate curve needs to go lower, and especially the back end. Very concerning to see it rise.

They are on an island. We can go back a few pages and see the panicans worried about them teaming up with Korea Vietnam blah blah.
Now China is isolated. Their economy is in tatters and the world is agreeing that things can’t continue the way they are.
The US has the major upper hand here and that’s why you saw the market recover losses so fast.

I've talked about Pelosi. I hate it when anyone in government insider trades. Think they should have to have their money in a blind trust.
But also, she wasn't the one causing the shifting. Just profiting from it (I hate both ftr).
Pelosi never attempted to fix anything, except her financial well being.
