Why not take the best 8 teams and start a brand new conference for 2024 with a yearly tv contract. With the Acc dissolved, ESPN would have a surplus of cash. If we could parlay that into a contract that would be a modest savings to ESPN and that we could split among 8 instead 14 teams. So more money for everyone involved, we ditch the bottom feeders, and can leave at any point we receive a better offer.
