I found this amusing.
My Brother is a huge Gamecocks fan and he has been a 22 year paying member of The Big Spur. He posts half as much as I do and usually gives short takes on posts. Today he was kicked off the site! I couldn’t believe it!
He said that some dude who writes over there named Tony gave his assessment of how things looked first spring practice. My Brother said for years JC Sherbert is a sunshine optimist who talks like all their players are first round players. Brother said that after Tony gave his opinion, JC posted a response that contradicted Tony and said his info was the review of this particular player or players were incorrect and said they were great players, whatever.
My Brother, who has never been a trouble maker, thought it was in bad taste to correct his own writer, wrote this…
“Those reports come from Mr. Offseason Sunshine”
To which JC responded, “You Are Gone”.
My Brother, a paying customer for 22 years, is kicked off The Big Spur. While I think he’s better off for it and I know Cris, Larry or Paul can’t talk bad on a colleague, but my God! Talk about soft skin!
