I DO think the Clemson "get-em-on campus" mystique is now a myth. We have to accept that things have quickly changed and that things change more quickly than they did in the past. Faciities and campus help but they are not the draw they used to be. I want the Dabo magic sermons, the Clemson campus and ethic to be THE thing- but it is not keeping us in top 5 recruiting or getting us there. Because of the new rules we are no longer with the “big boys.” I had someone ask me the other day so how long is Dabo going to last? All because of the NIL/portal thing. He thinks Clemson doesn’t have a chance to be tops again without a coach that gets it. Thoughts?
