He was arrested for adding signatures to petitions ahead of the 2019 democratic primary. It had absolutely nothing to do with the 2020 or 2022 elections.

And, yes, I know, in your mind the fact that "the Dems" committed fraud back then means they're definitely still doing it and doing it much worse.
