People on this board and in general have a real hard time separating opinions from facts. "Trump slowed this thing way down" is an opinion. "The media is trying to sabotage Trump" is an opinion. You may WANT them to be facts, but they are not.
Also, the reaction to this virus also goes to show how anti-education and intelligence this country has become. You people don't know more than the experts. I don't either. It goes for all of us that are not doctors or epidemiologists. You may think that you have a feeling that this won't be as bad as it looks. HOWEVER, we have lots and lots of people that not only have experience on working with previous pandemics, but also are working from data to try to model how this will look in the future. Those may not also be "facts" yet, but if you are asking me to depend on literally thousands of experts in the field to figure what our response will be and what it will look like without certain measures, or millions of "experts" who just "have a feeling" that this is "pretty much the flu", I can tell you which way I think we should go.
