POS cop needs charged and fired like yesterday

This is what Trump advocates. He is planning to give cops immunity for any offense that they commit. You will be seeing a lot of this and worse. He also states that he will be signing a bill for "stop and search." America will be a living hell over the next four years.
Wrong

“There’s a big difference between being a bad person and making an innocent mistake,” he said. “Sometimes you have less than a second to make a life and death decision, and sometimes very bad decisions are made. They’re not made from an evil standpoint, but they’re made from the standpoint of ‘they’ve made a mistake.’”

I would file the above video firmly in the “a bad person” drawer.

Putting your hands on a cop is moronic
I'm firmly pro police. Having said that, that cop is 100% in the wrong. That guy did not put his hands on the cop unless there is another video I have not seen. Even if he accidently did touch him, he was a feeble old man who posed zero threat - just like another poster said. That cop should be suspended at the least. If this is not the only occurrence of that sort of behavior from him( which would be surprising), he should be fired.

He slapped the cop in the stomach before giving him the shush sign.

Im confused, why would anyone criticize DJT's policy decisions? Don't you want to MAGA? Outlaw protests? Enable police to bash people's heads in for speaking their mind?
pussies.
You might want to review what you think about what the right thinks. Maybe try and take some time and talk and ask questions instead of gaslighting. Im a diehard Trump guy, that doesn't stop me from being critical of some things he says or does. Not sure why you are bringing Trump into a thread about something that has nothing to do with Trump except to gaslight. Maybe as you say you are confused and made a wrong turn into a non Trump thread...

One such promise: "We're going to give our police their power back," he told rallygoers in Waukesha, "and we are going to give them immunity from prosecution."

Between police and prosecutors, law enforcement officers are arguably already the most powerful people in government, so it's unclear what Trump means by giving them "their power back." His second promise, though—immunity from prosecution—is more concrete, and a reminder of the former president's views on government accountability.

You guys gave him a mandate right? Or is this just hyperbole? Or is this just Trump saying how it really is? Who knows?

Trump is actually in the OP. The tweet references him and qualified immunity, the thread starting post is literally criticizing the former presidents position on Qualified Immunity. So maybe I am confused, because words and context have meaning to me.

Yes, we need to support Police. However, when they **** up like this clown and go beyond his authority, he needs to be held accountable like the rest of us...

So no immunity? But Trump said they should have total immunity? Then again, he thinks he should have complete immunity so that does track...

Well, I guess that makes you at odds with the president elect. GL with that.
No it doesn't. You are not honest about what he says. Ive never heard him say cops can do whatever they want. He has talked about building back relationships due to things in the past...So stop gaslighting

Heres the full context on what he has said:

Trump said something similar during a July 27, 2024 rally in St. Cloud, Minnesota: “We're going to give immunity to police, so they can do their job. I'm giving federal immunity to police officers, so they can do their job.”

What it seems to me you are saying, is you have no idea what the President Elect's policy is on qualified immunity, but no matter what it is, you agree with it. Right?
