Cade Klubnik:

--He just feels sad. They left everything out there, but in the end, South Carolina made a few more plays.

--The atmosphere was great; the fans brought it.

--They had unwavering belief until the last play. He was proud of the O-line for battling a tough D-line and of the receivers for making big plays.

--On the final play: It was just a scramble drill, and he dirtballed the throw to Phil. Even if they had caught it, it wouldn’t have mattered. The defender just made a good play.

Blake Miller:

--No one likes to lose; you play to win, and they didn’t get that done today. They’re trying to stay positive and learn from this for whatever the future holds.

--Execution was the issue. They had 9-10 guys doing the right thing instead of all 11, and that made the difference in not capitalizing on the turnovers and opportunities they had.

Khalil Barnes:

--After the game, the coaches said they appreciated the effort from everyone today. They didn’t want to go out like this.

--LaNorris Sellers just made a lot of plays. He’s a big, physical player.

--Today sucks, but they have a 24-hour rule—they’ll be back to work tomorrow.

--After his interception, it was cool to celebrate with the fans. He appreciates their impact on the game today.

Barrett Carter:

--Tips his cap to LaNorris Sellers. He’s a great player who made some big plays today.
