Stop gaslighting. I havent posted anything anti-gay. I dont have any issues with gays. I do have issues with pedos. Since I have issues with pedo's you try and paint me as anti-gay. I think I speak not only for me but much of the L & G parts of the LGBT community when I say GFY, See Dave Rubin(Gay) , Blaire White(Trans and way hotter than you), and Gays Against Groomers. You hate all those people...
In sum, the Committee found substantial evidence of the following:
- From at least 2017 to 2020, Representative Gaetz regularly paid women for engaging in sexual activity with him
- In 2017, Representative Gaetz engaged in sexual activity with a 17-year-old girl.
- During the period 2017 to 2019, Representative Gaetz used or possessed illegal drugs, including cocaine and ecstasy, on multiple occasions
- Representative Gaetz accepted gifts, including transportation and lodging in connection with a 2018 trip to the Bahamas, in excess of permissible amounts
- In 2018, Representative Gaetz arranged for his Chief of Staff to assist a woman with whom he engaged in sexual activity in obtaining a passport, falsely indicating to the U.S. Department of State that she was a constituent
- Representative Gaetz knowingly and willfully sought to impede and obstruct the Committee’s investigation of his conduct.

Well, I'm not saying that pedophilia ISN'T a sexual orientation. As far as this type of thing goes, I generally defer to the science and the folks that study this professionally. If experts that know what they are talking say it's a sexual orientation, fine. Accept it? Not so much. Pedophiles are NOT acceptable b/c they attack children.
Cockroaches are a thing too. But I didn't accept them in my house when I lived in SC (this doesn't appear to be a thing in Idaho). I generally did whatever it took to get rid of them when they did show up. Same thing here. If it's genetic or a sexual orientation, doesn't make any difference. <Blows lifeguard whistle... Hey you! Matt Gaetz is NOT a pedophile. To me at least a pedophile is someone who goes after prepubescent kids. I said this in the original thread on this Gaetz stuff. He's not guilty of sex trafficing either.
Apparently, Gaetz is a 40 something year old man that likes partying, doing drugs, and having sex with 17 year olds. In fact he liked it so much that he paid for it and took the 17 year olds with him when he traveled, so that he could have MORE sex with them. Period. That's it.
If true, that makes him a scum bag and a total creep. It may also make him a criminal once specifics of the drug use and exact ages of the women/girls come out. If so, he needs to be charged, tried, and if guilty, convicted. If he's guilty, lock him up. BUT, Innocent until proven guilty for sure.
That being said, from an historical perspective, folks with these types of accusations against them don't get nominated for AG. Certainly not until they've been resolved and the person in question has been exonerated.
So where do you draw the line as a pedophile? He obviously likes having sex with girls much younger than him.
It's one thing to be with a 17 year old if you are 19. Being with a 17 year old when you are forty is criminal.
The fact that Trump nominated him at all is one more example of Trump's idiotic hiring record. Who hires that guy when everyone in town was talking about his drug and sex escapades.
Just shows another example of Trump valuing loyalty over anything else.

Agreed. Trump's hiring practices seem to be questionable at best. I remember back in 2016 when he told us he was going to hire the best people. Well, not so much... And that's from ANY standpoint. If you believe Trump and his Deep State assertations, Trump hired A LOT of Deep State folks... as in hand picked them. The never Trumpers think a lot of his hirings were not qualified for the positions in the first place. Either way, NOT great picks no matter which side you are on.

A lot of parallels to the Deshaun Watson saga. Not enough evidence to charge either person in court but the NFL and congress paid for private reports to skewer the person in public in order to have them considered a criminal by the mob.
From what's out there, it'd be hard to change him with anything more than patronizing a prostitute. Fair or not, his behavior as morally reprehensible and he ought to pay a price for it
