President Trump doesn't have the power to implement these tariffs and he's making a massive mistake with them...

What are the odds that you'd support a policy that says, "Pay the government more in taxes so they can subsidize X industry you don't work in?" That's what a tariff is in effect. It doesn't make things cheaper. It's not going to increase real wages; employers have to pay more for everything too.

There is no universe where things get cheaper as supply goes down.
We will see over the next 4 years.

Trump's tariffs are described as a 'win win' that either forces countries to drop their tariffs on the US, or receive reciprocal tariffs:
Kevin O'Leary: "Every single tariff scheduled, on every product in every country has never been looked at this way. What happens, both sides look at each other 'How about no tariffs?'"
Scott Bessent: "Going into April 2nd, now some of our most imbalanced trading partners come forward and want to drop their tariffs.
If you drop yours, we'll drop ours.
We are already seeing some of the worst offenders come down."

Progressives these days despise actual progress

Sold down the river.

WATCH: Bob Lighthizer, the mastermind behind Trump's trade & tariffs, STUNNED Tucker Carlson with an insane stat.

"So, we have transferred about $20 trillion worth of our national wealth and I would say the future income of that wealth overseas in return for current consumption."

The United States is BROKE and nearing bankruptcy, and it's because the Neocons that hijacked our foreign & trade policy since World World II shipped all industries to foreign countries.

This is what Trump is trying to fix, but we have corrupt judges who have never worked a real job in their lives, constantly ruling to delay and deny.

Got to love using "national security" to justify the President slapping tariffs on just about everything imported into the US, including allied nations. What happened to Congress passing a law?

Big government this, big government that, but when it comes to stopping the President from unilaterally dictating US trade policy (and in effect taxes), we get complete silence and subservience from the GOP.

Our GDP is up a casual 5000% from 1960 and 370% from 1990. America's debt to GDP is less than half of China's. The dollar makes up roughly half of foreign currency reserves. You don't get that by picking a trade war with the rest of the world.

There's no "problem" to fix. The idiotic trade decision is trading the global market for the domestic one.

Yes but we are not a one world order. Our nation has to be advocated for and protected in international matters.
We have more buying power than any other nation on earth, and you think free trade works against us? It's the exact opposite. Our advantage is our capital. If global trade drops, that advantage is lost.

American companies don't benefit from having their export market hurt in retaliation for our tariffs.
