We need a starting DE after this past season and losing Hoeffler, got Heldt (4 star), with 2 years left. We needed depth at WR after losing Stellato and Johnson, got Smith with 2-3 years left. We needed depth/potential starter at LB, got Alexander (5 star) with 2 years left. Alexander is also a premiere DE rushing threat on third downs, so I think he will be used all over the place with the new DC. These are all GREAT pickups that will help us tremendously next year. I am hoping that our young RB's can fill the void because that is the one area on offense that I don't feel to strong about right now. WE have EZ, Gideon, and Henderson but they are all extremely young. We also have Haynes coming off ACL injury and will miss Spring. We then have Green and Adams Jr who both have played sparingly so far. We have numbers at this position, but our elite talent is Redshirt Freshmen and Freshmen or hurt. It wouldn't hurt to pick up a RB with starting experience to help ease the young guys in next year.

Defensively, I still think we need a starting S. I really like Jones, but Griffin and Barnes have struggled and been inconsistent. I think we need 1 starting S for next year and let the rest fight for the other spot. I also am a little concerned about DT experience. If Cape doesn't get the other year, it wouldn't hurt to pick up a DT similar to our Williams departure, an experienced guy that can give us 300 snaps possibly. I really like our young talent at DT, but they need time to develop.
