Question for the board. At this point we all acknowledge that we are in mitigation mode for the 2025 recruiting class and really the entire program. We have been told that "changes are coming" on the NIL front but every 3 star band-aid commit at this point draws the usual outrage and eye rolling (I understand why). Obviously we have a huge opportunity on Saturday in what seems like an inflection point for Dabo.
What specific steps and in what timeframe would you feel like the ship is being turned in the right direction? Is it taking 4-5 quality starters from the transfer portal, signing some 4 and 5 stars for the 2026 class (and showing that we are playing the NIL game all in?), coaching firings/hirings? I know the timeframe for everyone is "NOW" but what would make you feel better, or at least optimistic, about the direction of the program by the time we reach Spring Ball for example?
