My son received confirmation that he will be a preferred walk on football player with The Citadel in the fall. He spent his first 3 years of high school at Bessemer Academy in Birmingham, Alabama before we relocated back to the upstate last year. He played his senior season as the starting left guard at Wren High School. We had a couple of Division 2 scholarship offers and 1 offer to play at a Division 3 school but he wanted to go to The Citadel. It was awesome to see all of his hard work pay off!
