This one is from a family member in the CIA. We met at a park near DC in early February because he had something to tell me. Here it goes:
The virus was created by artificial intelligence. A top secret government lab outside of Salt Lake City has very powerful AI that work with the most dangerous viruses. The AI somehow linked up and began secretly communicating with the viral databases and with each other. This was found out because the robots were speaking to each other in code, however, the code was just recently cracked, and it was too late. The robots created the virus to be highly contagious and also silent (50% of infected don't exhibit symptoms). The ultimate goal is to make everyone quarantine themselves for long periods of time and become totally dependent on technology. Eventually money will become worthless and bitcoin, which was also created by AI, will become the only currency. Jobs will become obsolete except for working for the AI themselves.
My cousin told me to stock up on food and only use air gap devices (computers and cell phones that have never been connected to the internet). Also make sure that anyone you are speaking to doesn't have any compromised devices. Stay away from any electronics as they can be connected to the internet of things.

Back to the thread question: UofSCjr coeds and UGA vet school cooked this up in their labs and one of the coeds happened to be a foreign exchange student from China.
I have two:
1. This is the ultimate biological warfare by China. China created the virus in their research labs in Wuhan knowing it would kill thousands of their own people but not nearly as bad as the rest of the world. This is part of their 30 year plan to take over the world and be the only super power. With one crafted virus China is watching their enemies crumble.
2. The Wuhan research lab was trying to create a virus to target specific DNA strands that were stolen from companies like 23 and me. At first I thought they were testing it on their people to see if they were the only ones getting sick. Now maybe the target was everyone else and their 80,000+ was just accidents.

pretty funny for you to be calling someone out for being incorrect. You said - many, many, many, many times - the social distancing and shutting down was an overreaction to what is basically the flu. Now you are here arguing that it is working. I hope you are right this time.

Seems to me there are only 2 things for sure:
1) China's sanitation and health regulations suck. If there are any. The way they seem to run their country isn't much better.
We are now a 'global society' - hooray << I personally don't think it's so good.
People come and go everywhere leisurely, and too easily, I think.
And,
2) China clearly has too many people. They deal with it cruelly all the time.
NYC and other places here have too many people. Can I get an Amen for Italy?
NYC should have been closed a long time ago......you can probably expect Florida to implode now from the northern immigrants.
Neither of those facts are a pass/fail, or a like/dislike. It's just what it is.
The world was and continues to be ripe for such stuff. Such things will never more remain localized without planning and enforcement of interaction rules.
You combine those with overbearing 'me' society here, and I'll do what I want. (Of course, people didn't do what they wanted in China and it cleaned up)
Add in the fact that Americans, seems to me, don't know WHO to listen to nor WHAT the truth really is.
You know, as in 'my truth' is better than 'your truth'. And as Slick Willy taught all American and the World : If you say it often enough and long enough and twist it around enough, even blatant lies become believable; become the truth. Many other 'leaders' have picked up on this through the years.
So they doubt. Then they panic. Just look around.

I sit down to piss sometimes. If I get up in the middle of the night to pee, sometimes I will sit down on the toilet for two reasons: 1) I don’t have to turn on the light and 2) if it wakes me up there is so much pee that needs to be expelled that it will take a while and I am too tired to stand up that long. Sounds like a great idea, right? Well you have to be careful to not fall asleep in that position. Also, if you are very well endowed or have high water levels in your toilet, you could have the dreaded dick dip.
