Posted this in another thread but felt it was worthy of it's own thread. for those posters clamoring for a "difference maker" based on Rivals ratings, lets take a look at recruiting since 2011 since Ellington and Harper left
RB since 2011
Bellamy: 5*: transfer
Brooks: 5.8: depth guy
Dye: 5.8: injured and never came back the same
Gallman: 5.7: one of the GOAT
Oglesby: 5.8: did not qualify
Choice: 5.9: depth guy behind ETN
Fuller: 5.5: depth guy
Feaster: 5.9: depth guy who never lived up to hype and transferred to our feathered little brothers
Etienne: 5.7: GOAT
Dixon: 5.8: transfer
Mellusi: 5.7: transfer
Dukes: 5.5: transfer
Bowman: 6.1: transfer
Pace: 5.8: transfer
Mafah: 5.9: solid
Ship: 6.0: solid
Adams: 5.6: TBD
So are we being a little overboard on the RB recruiting situation? Green and Haynes both have decent enough film and one of the two will likely turn out to be at leasta solid contributor/depth guy if not a solid starter
