Here is the full response we received from Dabo:

“I really don't have an answer for you other than he's decided to give up football. We've really invested in him. He was going to play this year and play a lot. He had the makings of becoming a special player. All the tools in the world. He just said he doesn't want to play football anymore. Nothing negative. He just wants to go to school and get a job, go to work. He's got some career goals he's interested in. It's disappointing because he's got a gift to play the game. But you have to want to do it and he doesn't love it. He doesn't want to do it.”
