Can all of you compile a list ITT of all the things you think/expect Donald Trump to do over the next four years that will be detrimental to the greater good of the country and the world?

List all of your concerns here. Air your grievances and we will periodically check back in from time to time to see where we stand.

Should be a fun exercise.

Bump.

Let’s get the party started. Tell us why we’re doomed.

From my understanding, this should be a 10+ page thread.

Not a lib but Ill start to break the ice...
Trump is going to end the war in Ukraine and thats terrible according to them...
The list is too long too delineate. I will say that it is a horrible idea to have a low down criminal being the president of America. He has more criminal charges than P. Diddy. Diddy will never see the day of light again, but this con artist can be president. He still has to face those thirty-four felonies in New York State on November 26. Maybe the good Lord will step in and give him what he deserves.

Are you actually comparing Trump to P. Diddy? Shame on you. You absolutely are disparaging him unfairly and unjustly. He is a true Patriot and a fighter. He loves this country! Maybe the Lord will give him what he deserves!? What do you deserve? What do we all deserve? We all deserve death! We are saved by God’s grace and His goodness!

There are so many stories out there of good things Trump has done for so many people and he doesn’t advertise his goodness! Just like the Bible says. He’s a good person with a big heart. He could go after alot of these corrupt people who have unfairly tried to bring him down because they fear him! And him becoming the 47th President! But he won’t! He’s interested in uniting the country! God Bless Donald Trump. He is part of God’s plan.

Who will you blame when you’re worse off in 4 years? Don’t blame me

This man had people killed on January 6. He ordered his "goons" to hang Mike Pence. There are over thirty women that has complained that this creature raped them. Yes he is no better than P. Diddy, in fact, he is probably ten times worse. Please do not place God's name near this evil devil. Also do you think God approves of people being placed in concentration camps? Trump did not create these people and he has no right to treat them like slaves. I have seen God do some wonderful feats, putting Trump in his place will be one of his greatest.

The only person that died on J6(at the capitol building) was a trump supporter who was shot by capitol police. Again, you simply are devoid of reality.

Should be a fun exercise.
1) he will appoint 1-2 more supreme court justices, establishing a long term conservative majority which has already resulted in a redefining of Presidential immunity and the end of abortion rights for millions of women. This court will very possibly also reverse gay marriage.

2) he has said he will not support a national abortion ban, and I’m not 100% certain one could pass through congress even if both chambers are red, but this is a “I’ll believe it when I see it” thing for me. I believe it is very possible he will sign such a law and will also support legislation that curbs access to contraception.

3) He will reschedule non-political federal employees, which will allow him to directly hire and fire people up and down the federal bureaucracy at will, giving the Presidency a significant lift in unilateral authority.

4) He will support a massive deportation effort, potentially enlisting the military to assist in this effort, and it will almost certainly result in people legally within the country and even American Citizens being mistakenly swept up and potentially deported by their own military.

5) He will pressure the fed to prematurely lower interest rates in order to artificially boost the market, and at the same time implement tariffs that are too aggressive. This combo will create more inflation, which he will promptly blame on democrats.

6) He may pass a tax reduction on overtime/tips, and this will almost certainly result in the wealthiest Americans figuring out how to reclassify their income to avoid taxes. This, of course, will also contribute to inflation.

7) Even if he supports tax breaks on overtime/tips, he will absolutely support any legislation and will make appointments that will fight against any workers rights measure. They will almost certainly work to roll back workers rights measures put in place by the Biden admin, which ironically includes an expansion on who is eligible for overtime pay.

8) Continued deregulation of measures that are actually pretty important. You might recall he eliminated the office that prepared for pandemics, which wasn’t a very helpful move when one hit, and he also rolled back regulations that led to toxic waste being spilled from a train in Ohio.

9) he will attempt to bring back the Presidents ability to impound money, which was made illegal during the Nixon administration. Trump aims to exercise more direct control over the money congress allocates and, as mentioned earlier, believes the fed should also be under tighter presidential control.

10) He seeks to nationalize measures some states have put in place regarding education, resulting in the banning of many books through vague language. This would seek to, again, expand federal control over public schools and allow the President to have more unilateral authority over what is taught in class rooms. He says he wants to do the same to colleges and universities, revoking accreditation for schools that don’t teach what this government dictates they teach.

11) He will likely again attempt to roll back the ACA, likely without any plan for a replacement. He has said he plans to put RFK jr in some sort of key healthcare role, which is a fantastic example of the kind of incredibly stupid things that giving the President more control over federal employees could result in - an antivaxx conspiracy theorist in a position of influence over the nation’s healthcare policy.

12) He will roll back any and all environmental protection measures, and will probably attempt to undo most of the legislation that rewards businesses for investing in clean energy, including incentives for companies to invest in electric vehicles. I’m sure somehow Tesla will be exempt from this.

I’m sure you’ll see the very common theme here is that Trump will do anything he can to gather more power as President and give himself as much unilateral authority as possible. And notice this list doesn’t include other crazy shit he’s said - like using the military against “the enemies within” or holding military tribunals for former congresspeople or revoking media credentials.

There are additional concerns that don’t necessarily directly involve Trump, but certainly his election will embolden states to continue curbing abortion rights, LGBT rights, and pushing for outdated ideas like abolishing no fault divorce.

Lastly, Trump will empower others who certainly do have visions of proclaiming America is a “Christian nationalist” country and want nothing more than to abolish the separation between church and state. There’s no question these people will gain more influence and power under Trump, and they will rush to implement as many changes as they can.

You, sir, have Trump Derangement Syndrome. TDS is a mental condition in which a person has been driven effectively insane due to their hate of Donald Trump, to the point at which they abandon all logic and reason. Get yourself some help. Yours has already progressed so far you can’t distinguish fantasy from reality.

I think Maga's are totally on board with all of this. The Heritage foundation has laid the ground work, Trump admin will execute.

Prosecute political opponents

Hunt down minorities

Remove a women’s right to choose/personal autonomy

To name a few
Prosecute political opponents like the Democrats did with Trump

Hunt down minorities Guess that means something I have no clue

On a woman’s right that is not a Federal Function but each state function so bitch to the states you are upset with and not Trump

Fair enough.
Add these:

  1. Eliminate / gut the FDA; the people who do food inspections on giant corporations and initiate food recalls on outbreaks such as listeria and e.coli contamination. With the FDA crippled, Americans are to trust giant corporations like Tysons to do the right thing with no oversight... Y'all about to **** around and find out
  2. Eliminate / gut the EPA, again, leaving Americans to trust giant corporations not to poison our land, rivers, groundwater, etc. No company would destroy the environment for the sake of profit, right guys? China's the world's greatest manufacturer, go do a Google search on their pollution situation. If you live anywhere near a blue collar job (factory, manufacturing) you'd better move ASAP
  3. Failure to codify abortion law; around 10-20% of pregnancies are non-viable or miscarried in the first trimester (12 weeks). Now, a woman must let a dead fetus sit in her body and hope she has a successful miscarriage before the necrosis kills her from within. Doctors in abortion limited states have already turned away women with known dead fetuses inside of them, only for the women to agonize and even die in the homes over a simple D&C procedure. We're talking about married couples trying to start families and getting horrible news about their babies being non-viable, not hookers in the streets
  4. Banning unions, overtime protectors, workers age - again, allowing big corporations to do whatever they want to workers with impunity. This is probably the biggest one that I don't get. Republicans are supposed to be all about helping the working class but your legislature actively fights unionization efforts. A union gives workers a united voice in a giant corporation that allows them to negotiate for better wages / employment terms. Yet Republicans are fighting to allow giant corporations to do whatever they want to employees with impunity. You're working a factory job and voting for people to eliminate your rights. It's incredible. And before you mention "unions = layoffs", dozens of corporations with no unions just implemented massive layoffs, including Tesla.
  5. Elimination of democratic principles / free speech. Trump is attempting to consolidate presidential power and will likely persecute his political opponents. Sounds a lot like communist Russia and China doesn't it? Maga thinks this is "worth it" because Trump is there guy, not realizing that any and all presidents to come after will have the same power. Presidential immunity is a colossal mistake and is leading us towards a dictatorship. It may or may not be Trump, but another president can come into office and do ANYTHING with no checks and balances. This is taking us back to the stone ages. Anything the "King" says goes.
  6. Do the same thought experiment with any other government agency and legislation you guys want to eliminate (ACA healthcare, insurance), I'm not going to go one by one here, you should see the pattern.
I honestly am not sure why people believe Republicans are for the everyman. Every policy enacted is to eliminate restrictions for corporations. You don't trust big corporations but you want to delete the FDA, EPA, Unions and any agency tasked with keeping corporations in check. You want the giant corporations to continue to offshore profits and pay no taxes while you pay 10-40% off the top. Loopholes for everyone with big money but unavoidable progressive income taxes on wages. One poster suggested MAGA would eliminate income taxes, for WORKERS, HAHAHAHAHA.

It's fascinating that low/middle income America votes for the wealthy, and a lot of high income America votes for the low/middle income. But I guess MAGA think you'll somehow eliminate inflation, because clearly a president can waive a wand and magically cure inflation. The libs are just too dumb to wave the wand, right?

I'll expand on the affordable Care act /OBAMACARE - even if you get insurance through your employer, ACA has previsions that close insurance company loopholes. Once gutted, insurance companies are going to deny a shit ton more claims because of "pre-existing conditions". Once again, removing a protection for the everyman in favor of giant insurance corporation profits.

You'd better pray to MAGA God that you or your family don't ever need to use medical insurance because it's about to become effectively worthless.

Your number 5 causes the rest of your post to lose credibility.

Trump and Elon have been the biggest free speech backers this planet has ever seen.

Couple that with the twitter files and your #5 is laughable

You might be the most brainwashed person I've ever seen. It's fine that you voted for Trump and I'm sure you had your reasons, but if those reasons were:

He's a patriot.

He's a good person.

Both of those statements are complete falsehoods. Trump only cares about himself, and having as much power as humanly possible.

Good morning. Happened to be on here when your quote popped up. You are wrong. My number 1 reason for supporting Trump is policy. But I do believe he’s a good person and loves the USA. I also relate to the unjust persecution and betrayal he’s been through. I have a terrible situation I have endured for 6 years this February. I cheered loudly when Trump made the biggest comeback in political history. He was redeemed and received justice. So I relate to that big time. I’m waiting for God to give me mine.

Well I hope your situation turns around for you.

Your number 5 causes the rest of your post to lose credibility.

Trump and Elon have been the biggest free speech backers this planet has ever seen.

Couple that with the twitter files and your #5 is laughable

This is my favorite. Thanks for a good laugh.
Ok... Let's suppose #5 doesn't happen and the principles of democracy are upheld.

Nothing else to say on points 1-6? You asked for coherent, factual arguments and are now standing around with a blank stare and no response.

They are neither coherent nor factual arguments. I actually lost IQ points from the mind numbing ideological logic it would take to come up with some of those "points."
