Resident Libs and Never Trumpers GITT

Like i said, your severe misjudgement on #5 lead me to discredit some of the rest of your post. If you think that Trump is a threat to free speech, then you just haven't been paying attention or you are so far gone that i don't think you can be helped. Seriously not sure how anyone following the race over the last few months could think that Republicans were the bigger threat to free speech.

1) We need to gut several government agencies. There are over 450 government agencies and it's just too many. We are broke and on a path to bankruptcy. All spending is on the table. However, it will not be a free for all as you suggest. Please don't forget about the judicial branch of the government.
2) See #1
3) If anything this election reflects that America has found compromise ground on abortion. Safe, Legal, but not late term. If Democrats want to continue to make it a central campaign issue that is their perogative, but I don't think its a winning issue any more. Most Americans are good with what we now have in place and as long as Republicans don't infringe on that agreement then abortion will be a fringe issue in coming elecitons.
4) I agree that allowing corporations too much power is a legitmate threat under a Repulican administration. But we have to be a pro-business nation. We need to embrace our business superstars just as democrats embrace movie stars. Hopefully we can toe the line correctly here.
5) Just laughable
6) A lot of agencies are going to be eliminated. It will be like a forest fire. Burn a lot to the ground and what grows back will be better. Just too much machine and fat right now and it needs to be thoroughly cleaned and reorganized and that inlcudes getting rid of every last refernce to DEI that exists on government books.

Trump should appoint you in his cabinet. 😊
You have been on this board over 20 years and you should be a Moderator however you may not want that job.

You and @TigerGrowls both.

Thanks @amynhop I enjoy your posts too and respect that you speak your mind.

I appreciate that. I will continue to speak my mind because it’s in my DNA. It’s who I am. I feel I do it respectfully. It’s comical to me that so many on this board, the same ones who accuse Trump of being a misogynist, constantly quote my post and belittle me. And do it because I’m a woman who is Conservative and stands up for what I believe.

They don’t dare do the same to the men on this board. I get bullied repeatedly by a few misogynists on this board. They attack me unprovoked and if I ever respond, they will tell me I’m playing the victim. It’s gotten old and I don’t post much anymore as a result.

Have participated more in the last few days of the election than I have in years. And that’s because I feel so strongly about our country and leadership and I will not be silenced. That being said…there are far more good guys on this board than bad. It’s just the insufferable ones who won’t back off and make getting on here so very unpleasant.

1 &2)There are 800,000 franchises in the US. Ok, I posted a big number, is that too many? With a gutted EPA/FDA/HHS you're going to expect billionaires and corporations to "do the right thing". I guarantee they won't be destroying the environment and dumping chemicals in water next to Mar-a-lago. That factory/big agro farm in SC the CEO visits once a year but you live 15 miles from is fair game. I won't argue that things could be more efficient, but wholesale gutting isn't for your benefit, it's for giant corporation profit margins.
3) What's being said (12 weeks) and being done (6 weeks and banning transport of supplies, imprisoning doctors) are two different things. Multiple states currently sit at outright bans and 6 week bans and Drs are refusing to use the "life threatening" exception because they are afraid of getting sued. Democrats campaigned on a nationwide 12-week right to abortion, Republicans have not campaigned on anything but "states rights". Great. You have a non-viable pregnancy and have to fly north to get a D&C or hope your body passes it before you die of poisoning.
4) Corporate profits are at all time highs. California and New York have the highest taxes and also the house the largest corporations on the planet. Republicans want to ban unions, eliminate overtime protections, and let corporations hire minors so they can get cheaper labor and increase these profits further. This will not improve blue collar working conditions. Its pretty simple. Again, I cannot understand the cognitive dissonance here. Blue collar folks voting for Republicans to ban unions and limit worker protections, then complaining about the lack of well-paying jobs. All while watching multiple unions across the U.S. get their workers 30-50% wage increases.
5) You guys seem to be taking democracy for granted, but I won't argue this point further.
6) It takes years of legislation, lawsuits, and regulations for any government agency to begin enforcing policies. Every legislation, democrat or republican, is immediately challenged in court by SOMEBODY. Burning it to the ground and starting over sounds great until you're the one waiting 10 years for a legislative fix. The Affordable Care Act (OBAMACARE) specifically forces all insurers to pay legitimate claims and bans the "pre-existing conditions" loophole. Republicans also want no limit on big pharma's ability to mark up drug costs by 10,000%. So, you'll soon be paying $800 for a monthly prescription that costs big pharma $5 to make, the insurers will claim its pre-existing and deny your claim, and you'll be sitting around waiting for this magical legislative re-build or whatever. Buy big pharma stox boiz

Probably the most ironic part of this whole thing is voting for a billionaire who was born wealthy, has never held a 9 to 5 of any kind, and who is only known on TV for firing anyone who dares disagree with his views/decisions, but expecting THAT GUY to be the guy that fights for workers. The guy who fired his entire cabinet multiple times over because they wouldn't break laws and skirt regulations to implement his whims. But he's your savior? Trump might truly be the antichrist with the way Christians can't recognize how evil this guy is. He's not a Christian, he constantly scams small businesses because he can, and he has grifted the entire maga base (selling bibles he's never read and commemorative coins). Its truly amazing.

I'm aware that this is falling on deaf ears. The man can say and do anything and you'll justify it or call it fake news. That's fine. I'm chilling over here. Feel free to lower my taxes🤷‍♂️

Didn’t read the majority of your post but zoomed in on the antichrist nonsense. I am continued to be amazed by sinners calling Trump a sinner. He’s a sinner. Just like you. And me. Is God supposed to strike him down, now?

Have you ever heard of King David? His life was filled with good and bad yet he was a man after God’s own heart. David committed adultery with Bathsheba and arranged the death of her husband in battle because he got her pregnant. Yet God ordained this adulterous, wealthy man with evil in his heart to preside over a nation. David gave us the Book of Psalms. Donald Trump is giving America back to the people.

Prosecute political opponents like the Democrats did with Trump

Hunt down minorities Guess that means something I have no clue

On a woman’s right that is not a Federal Function but each state function so bitch to the states you are upset with and not Trump
They always project onto their opponents what they themselves are doing...

I wouldn't expect you to read it or have a coherent response back. Its cognitive dissonance. If you identify as something you will ignore all evidence to the contrary. Very few can think critically and even less can change their views when presented with new information.

I totally understand why rich people vote Trump. Its the blue collar folks that baffle me.

Respectfully… I wouldn’t expect a coherent response from you. Your last sentence was the most out of touch.

Bernie Sanders made his most intelligent statement to date. He said, “ It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them.”

Let's recap
Southern governers block unions and pay $17 an hour to blue collar folks

Unionized liberals at Boeing in Seattle, Wa and Oregon get 40% pay raises, increases from 70k to 100k over four years

Stellantis Union workers negotiate starting pay increases from 18$ an hour to $30 an hour over the next four years

But, Republicans are for the working class. While enacting legislation that blocks the government from funding companies that form unions.

Like I said, doesn't affect me, but good luck to the blue collar folks. I truly want the best for you, which is why I voted Democrat.

LOL. Why you voted democrat? Aren’t you altruistic? Doesn’t affect you? You’re one of the 32” waist, multi- millionaires on the board? The presidency affects all of us.

No reaction to the content, just a generic ad hominem. Cognitive dissonance

None really, but glad you agree that Trump is evil. Your turn

All sin is evil and not Godly. Period. No point in this back and forth. You aren’t changing my mind and I’m not changing yours. So we can respectfully agree to disagree. I’ve got things to do and even though I like to speak up on my beliefs….I usually leave this board less joyful. Which is the main reason I’m not on here very much anymore. I have a lot to do and I’m wasting my time. Peace.
