Seems like a lot of accomodations and segregation for a small group."Lavender Place will be the 18th living, learning community at Clemson. Other living, learning communities on-campus include those for students in ROTC, business majors, and CONNECTIONS, which is for students of color, according to Clemson's website."
Not seeing the issue.

Liberals destroying America. The football team will never recover from this.
Segregation at it's finest. So proud of my Alma Mater.Good for Clemson. Nothing like segregation to bring everyone closer together.
I don't see the problem.
No real dog in this fight, but people READING the article and WRITING a response refutes your post. After reading some of the responses ITT, I'm convinced 1/3rd of this board is functionally illiterate.
What’s the problem?
Not if their response clearly indicates they didn't comprehend what they read.No real dog in this fight, but people READING the article and WRITING a response refutes your post.
Wow. The world we live in today says everyone is supposed to accept this as perfectly normal.
Pretty soon when everyone has their own "space" we'll be right back to segregation where it all started. Everything old is new again.
I’m not cheering it, but as long as there is other “special interest” housing, and I’m assuming an application/review process, you have to allow it.It's strange. Tons of people seem to see this but the people cheering for it don't. Blows my mind.
People get uncomfortable because they don't understand and automatically cast a negative opinion. I think that is the human condition.I’m not cheering it, but as long as there is other “special interest” housing, and I’m assuming an application/review process, you have to allow it.
Besides, it’s not “segregation,” it’s self imposed isolation. The same as Zetas not living with Deltas (or whatever sororities are living on campus).
