Rule of Law is dead in the US

Despicable - Trump releases the J6 prisoners who assaulted him, who now vow revenge against him and the DOJ tells him they won't help.

The Rule of Law is truly dead.

"Those of us who find ourselves in the crosshairs of Donald Trump cannot depend on these government institutions, which for centuries have been charged with keeping Americans safe," Fanone said. "We cannot depend on these government institutions which for centuries have been charged with keeping Americans safe."

Lies

Oops, looks like your propaganda post from some magat on Xchan mysteriously disappeared. In other words, you tried to own me with yet another lie from the gutter you swim in and they pulled it when they got caught fabricating bullshit for you loons to virally spread.

Why don't you try something crazy like using your own words to prove your point?

SPEAKER MIKE JOHNSON: The Democrats have now latched onto a new shiny object called the 'rule of law.' We welcome them to the concept... it would be admirable if they hadn't spent the last 4 years with their heads buried in the sand while Biden trampled the rule of law with no objection. In fact, Democrats cheered that lawlessness, like when Biden unconstitutionally forced the middle class to pay student loans of doctors and lawyers. When they illegally mandated private companies implement vaccine requirements. They radically re-wrote Title IX to undermine women's rights. Those things were actually illegal, and the Democrats cheered it.

For the 10th time. Reuters and Politico were NOT paid by USAID - the DOD payment was started under Trump and there was nothing nefarious about it.

News outlets reject Trump accusations of USAID media 'payoff'

"While most of that money was spent under the previous Biden administration, the contract’s start date was in the first term of U.S. President Donald J. Trump, according to records reviewed by Worthy News.

The first roughly $2.1 million was allocated to Thomson Reuters Special Services LLC between September 2018 and February 2020,
showing graphics on the USASPENDING.GOV website, which tracks how the government spent taxpayers’ dollars.

While commentators were quick to say that it was part of Biden’s misinformation campaign, experts and officials suggested that Reuters was asked to help defend against large-scale social deception rather than participate in it.

“The Active Social Engineering Defense (ASED) program aims to develop the core technology to enable the capability to automatically identify, disrupt, and investigate social engineering attacks. If successful, the ASED technology will do this by actively detecting attacks, intervening in communications between users and potential attackers, and coordinating investigations into the source of the attacks,” said the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)."

Imagine someone thinking that USAID's $8 million of subscriptions to Politico was anything other than a payoff.
Imagine not understanding anything because you don't read any farther than a tweet and you think the entire world is involved in a deep state conspiracy to help the libs. Ask Lauren Boebert why her office was subscribed to their service. Is she deep state too?

Any reasoning behind why Bondi's DoJ wants to drop the corruption case against Eric Adams? I mean, Adams is as big a crook as they come, so you'd think they'd want to continue investigating his corruption.
There is no such thing as the rule of law in this new admin. Lawbreakers can be broken down into two categories

Don't kiss the ring - criminal
Kiss the ring - innocent

watch Eric Adams on Tucker Carlson - seems like a BS charge although it turns into Tucker slamming the idea of sanctuary city status -

I know you won't but if you want a separate view watch it - I thought he was guilty until I saw the interview and it gave me pause

- similar to Rod B from Illinois back in the 90s - interesting stuff - again thought he was guilty as hell and now, I dont know what to think about any of the lifetime DCers

so corrupt on both sides from the institutional politicians

I haven't dug into it but I saw DeBlasio say the same thing that he thought he was overcharged and I've heard others say the charges are legitimate. I know that Adams claims it was retribution from Biden for criticizing him, which would piss me off but I'm willing to consider it to be true. Unless I dig into it more, I'm not comfortable saying either side is right but if the Trump appointed attorney quit, that has to give you pause.

They still should have let the legal process play out though, especially if the charges really were flimsy. I don't know that though because I haven't dug into the details.

She is apparently a very staunch conservative with great credentials, she clerked for Justice Scalia. She doesn't seem like someone who would be afraid or put off by the fallout.

You almost have to think she felt very strongly that this was corruption and needed to be prosecuted.

"Adams’s attorneys repeatedly urged what amounted to a quid pro quo, indicating that Adams would be in a position to assist with Department’s enforcement priorities only if the indictment were dismissed," Sassoon wrote. "Mr. Bove admonished a member of my team who took notes during that meeting and directed the collection of those notes at the meeting’s conclusion."

Sassoon also said in the letter that her office was preparing to file additional charges against the mayor “based on evidence that Adams destroyed and instructed others to destroy evidence and provide false information to the FBI.”

Idk man seems pretty illegal to me. Pretty clear why she left.

I’m sure the posters who slammed Adams, posted his picture here, and have used him as a model of corruption for a year now will be here soon to condemn this action.
