My son's team was down 2 with a few seconds left. They inbound the ball and draw a foul. A kid for my son's team makes both free throws to tie the game. The ref blows his whistle and calls a technical foul on the other team for their players making noise during the free throw. He then calls a technical foul on the kid on my son's team for celebrating too much about making the free throws. So both teams are going to get 2 technical free throws. The kid for my son's team makes both. The other team misses.
So I figure the game is over. But no the refs make them play OT. So, we had an OT period that started with my son's team leading by 2. Never seen an OT in a game that wasn't tied.
