Trump is a terrible person, but some of the most revered and well liked dems to this day were just as bad. Clinton was doing the same. There is definitely a systemic problem with policing in the united states. They got super militarized and they are the largest drain on city tax dollars, but they don't get the training they actually need to deal with many of the issues they are called on. Homelessness, addiction, mental illnesses. Some cities have started launching mobile DHHS units to ride along with police. This is a step in the right direction.
Im not dragging cops here, but they are given almost a blank check in our society and everyone seems aghast when we ask what are we paying for? Accountability would be a nice change of pace. Actually trying to better the public service, instead of clutching their pearls and acting like they are punisher behind a thin blue line. I am not on the fence. 100% I want trump to win. That does not change that he is a crappy human being. He has cheated on every wife he has had. How would you feel about that if it was your mother or your daughter? Are you good if your wife displayed the same behavior, would you support that?
I want Trump to win because I think the legislation passed, or not passed, would be much better under him than any Democrat running. I also won’t conservatives appointed to the court if any openings come in the next four years. My preference for Trump is not based on his personality, it is based on what I think the result would be. If you think Trump is a good person and can’t admit his faults.
