Are you serious? Add the phrase "more than" to my post and my point remains. I cannot imagine anyone who lives in a world who are not outraged and sickened that six-year-olds are being allowed to make those decisions.

Butthurt and disgusted isn't the same thing. Regarding "obviously a euphemism", child abuse is not the time to temper your language if you're truly outraged. Strange hill for you to die on without offering any further criticism of the practice in question. You're coming across as less than sincere with your explanation.

This is the answer. But the parties won't let it happen.

Jungle primarys and an RCV general election could help solve this problem.

Imagine a race with 4 people on the ballot this year. Trump, Biden, Romney and Bernie (ideological placeholders for far left and moderate right).

The percentage of people who love Biden and trump aren't enough to get close to 50%, so their votes get knocked out. Then, the voters who chose them first, get their vote allocated to their second choice, in this case, probably Romney picks up the most votes.

It would allow us to have real choice and candidates that aren't beholden to party primarys.

A big problem is how polarized and susceptible people are to their media of choice. Maybe AI will somehow help with this
