In today’s NIL world and Clemson’s philosophies on recruiting, should we not even bother recruiting top 50 or so ranked prospects (given our avoidance of bidding wars out of both staff preference and lack-of-enough-deep-pockets compared to programs with larger alumni bases) and focus on lower ranked players with less acclaim and focus on developing them to become star players in time (ie value investing)?
