Looking for advice from my TI brethren/sisterhood.
I want to take my wife away for several days to a ski resort; strictly for the snow and scenery. Combination birthday/anniversary getaway. We're both in our 70's now and don't even consider skiing (never tried but wish I had as a younger man). Snow mobiling does appeal.
Just want a cozy atmosphere with dining options nearby. Within reasonable driving distance from S.C. lowcountry (6-10 hrs preferably). Late Jan - Feb.
If anyone is familiar with Cragun's outside of Brainerd, the southern counterpart would be ideal.
