Anytime anyone wants to hate on the Postal Service, they need to reply to me right here.

I worked for the Postal Service twice during my career. There is a lot more that goes on behind the scenes than most people will ever know. I'm not in any way saying things can't be improved, but their "red" budget goes much further than that.

Edited to add: Did you know that the USPS covers veterans pentions? Maybe not now, but it used to.

Also, think about the fact that you are the owner of a small business. Cost go up, rates go up right? Not so for the USPS.

I'm sure you are all paying the same thing for Fed/Ex and UPS shipments as you were 4 years ago. The USPS can't even raise the rate on a ****ing stamp without congressional approval and the whole appeal process.
