The difference is dems are still going to vote for harris even if they have to hold their nose and do it. Dems will wait until after the election to fight amongst themselves.
That's the difference in the dem and pub parties. Never trumper pubs will not vote for trump just like many trump fans would would probably not vote for any other pub candidate. They both would rather sit home and be butthurt and hand the election to a democrat.
This is such hypocrisy. Are you forgetting when this came up during the last election and it was revealed the pictures the dems used in their ads that showed this were actually pics from during the obama administration showing illegals in "cages"?

I would bet my last dollar that Hillary is trying to undermine Kamala behind the scenes. No way she wants the first woman president to be some imbecile like Kamala. She is totally embarrassed by the prospect of it all. I would much rather have Hillary than this blooming idiot
I stand corrected on the fencing however Trump did have a separation policy and Obama did not. By separating these children, they also were put into cramped overcrowded holding areas that led to multiple reports of sexual abuse, retaliation from US agents and many slept on concrete floors. When he ended the policy, there was no mechanism in place to reunite these children with their families and some haven't been reunited to this day.
So Biden got the cage part wrong but that doesn't mean they were kept in better conditions than the fencing.

Also, the quote below seems like your expectation of better treatment might not be accurate. This is not the first example of apparently harsh US treatment toward immigrants being attributed to the Trump administration. The recent examples below all date from the Obama administration:
- the existence of a special bus for detained children
- a Senate report (pdf) about a dozen immigrant children in the US government’s custody who were released to human traffickers
- an American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) report detailing “a pattern of intimidation, harassment, physical abuse, refusal of medical services, and improper deportation” by the US Customs and Border Patrol between 2009 and 2014
