2nd story. A girl I dated but never put a title on acccused me of “cheating” on her with another bartender coworker that she had beef with. Technically she was right I was messing around with that girl. But the girl lied and held me down and said nothing happened.
Well like a year later we were going to a Chris brown concert in ATL and the other girl calls me and it shows up on the car so she grabs my phone. I try to grab it back driving on the highway. She says she’s going to throw it out the window on the highway I still try to grab it. She punches me in the face while driving. I pull over she’s screaming crying and cussing me out I tell her she hits like a pussy ass bitch and she punches me twice more. I get my phone back call her best friend tell her where we at and have her come get her. Also way more to the story but I’m not trying to type at a full life time movie.

uh, no. i spent my mid 20s to early 30s working in a major metropolitan downtown area where the culture was somewhere between Mad Men and Desperate Housewives. I'm not Brad Pitt in his prime or anything but could have banged around on my wife anytime I wanted basically. Could have thrown a rock in any direction and hit a dime. Turned down many, many opportunities (seriously there are a lot of desperate women out there I guess).

I love my wife even though she aggravates the hell out of me frequently and have no desire to stray. A man's got to have some kind of code. Beyond the morality of it, I wouldn't want the hassle of trying to lead a double life.

I usually enjoy your posts and it’s sad to me to see your take here because I think there is pain behind it.

You said earlier that marriage is a contract. It’s not. It’s a covenant and it’s with your spouse and with God. Unfortunately too many people go into marriage thinking there is a way out or taking it too lightly. Kudos to you for being self aware and knowing it’s not for you. It’s not for everyone.

There are many men who have the means and opportunity to cheat. But they don’t. Because they understand what “honoring their wife” really means. I think that number is higher than 10%. I have an amazing wife and relationship. I wish everyone could have what I have but through poor choices and marrying for the wrong reasons they don’t. Don’t settle, find someone that you are incredibly attracted to and they also happen to be your best friend. Continue to date them. For your entire marriage. Work at it. Don’t let things grow stale. Be an example for your children of what a loving husband looks like. If more men understood this we wouldn’t have so many horrific examples of homes torn apart and families destroyed.

Fair points I agree with you actually. My only thing is I don’t think more men and women actually honor and obey that. I think marriage is a beautiful thing honestly and i do want to get married. I just think infidelity is way more prominent than people on this board are acting like. And I think Steve smith is being made the villain when we don’t have all the facts to the situation. I think the wife is clearly wrong. I also think the husband is crazy for posting all of this

Can’t remember the story but it was on this board I would say about a year and a half ago. I think the guy who got killed posted some and the other guy was a member or former member. People on this board knew them. I want to say it was in Greer or Greenville but my memory sucks
