Once again, Sturgill Simpson has taken a different path. Passage du Desir dropped today. It is an interesting mix of adult contemporary and rock. Would sound right at home in the 70's. My tastes are all over the place but this one will get some repeated play over the next few weeks. I know some of us do not care for his newer stuff. We may want meta Metasounds or Sailor, but Sturgill continues to follow his own muse. I for one think he is the most interesting musician currently practicing.
