Such horrible scheduling today. How can highly paid AD's be this dumb?

So many AD's hanging their teams out to dry. There are a few simple rules that you never break when scheduling early season games. Here they are for all the would-be future AD's on TI!

Willence's Rules for Early Season Scheduling:

1. If you're going to play someone good early, play a very good team OR play a total patsy. Don't go middle ground. NEVER schedule a team that gets you nothing if you win but is good enough to potentially give you a game and maybe even beat you (See UNC, NCSU, BC, VT)

2. NEVER provide an opponent of unequal stature a game in their stadium. (See VT and UNC, NCSU today)

3. NEVER play a game against a somewhat or more capable team in your area/state that is filled with players pissed because you didn't recruit them. That's a recipe for disaster. You are their Super Bowl in these games. They are going to play their asses off to show you what a mistake you made. (See VT and UNC, NCSU today)

4. NEVER play a "neutral" site game when you travel across the country and the other team is in their backyard (See Oregon: They might as well have played in Sanford Stadium)

If you follow these simple and very obvious rules, your chances for success go up dramatically. Can't believe this isn't understood by ADs at this level. They should all be fired. For a supposedly good academic league, the ACC is the king of stupid with this stuff. The Pac-12 isn't far behind.
