It always amuses me to see folks take shots at gaming (a hobby) on a board where grown "children" religiously follow the social media posts of teenagers, spend countless hours researching their Fantasy Football strategy, spend thousands of dollars and hours playing a arrogant ridiculous game (golf), or sit in a cold ass tree for hours just they can maybe kill something ........

Just like with any "hobby", spending too much time doing your "hobby" is detrimental.


My first gaming system was the Atari 2600 and I have been a gamer ever since. Im 43, have a a beautiful wife (who I certainly out kicked my coverage on) who is a partner at her law firm and manages her firms office here on the shore, two beautiful children, and a very successful 22 + year career in commercial aviation and havent lived with my parents since I was 18.

aaaaaaaaaaaand around 5:30 today, Im going to pick up my PS5 controller and continue to work on getting the Platinum Trophy in Assassins Creed Valhalla

the difference between him and liberal stay at home children is he made his money and was very good about helping out around the house

Since I opened the can of worms I want to thank you for contributing to the conversation

I hear you even though as you have described it my head is stuck up my ass impairing my ability to hear anything other than shit

Glad it is not stuck up someone else’s ASS as I am not into that kinky stuff

I apologize to those people who describe themselves as wildly successful as my gripe is with those that don’t have skin in the game

If you have skin in the game and are a consenting adult then please don’t feel I am criticizing your lifestyle

I am disappointed by those people who complain about life and are spectators instead of players

Jump in the pool even if everyone has pissed in it and enjoy the swim

So my kudos to you for your feeling good and empowered by your present life
