Superintendent thinks Deshaun can’t get the job done bc he’s black

Talking about Deshaun like that is akin to slapping my mother. I want to punch him in the face and rip the whiskers out of his mustache...

This is the same as people who roll their eyes If we offered a white DB or RB. Just because traditionally white QBs have been more successful doesn’t mean it’s some unicorn situation to have a black QB that’s ranks among the best. Send him our natty game tape.

Not sure if it was posted here, but there was a Warchant thread over the weekend that said they need a white head coach.

Unbelievable.

Oh it wasn’t missed and let’s just say some posters weren’t miffed by that.

I tagged the warchat asshat on TMB that started that thread, needless to say he didn't have the stones to respond.

Lots of "reverse" racism on this board to go with the regular kind

It's disappointing we just can't seem to make significant progress with the race issue. Maybe if everyone begins spending more time with individuals/friends of different ethnic background, political leanings, etc we can all begin to grow together and help move this country forward.

there are literally two trolls/assholes in that thread and many more telling them to get out of here...not bad really

Racism is part of our culture. If you want proof, try to have a conversation about race. Most think racism equals slavery, segregation, or the KKK. What this guy wrote shouldn't shock us, because we all hear it, in innuendo, jokes, or poor thinking.

As a rebuttal to this post, the race deniers will claim their innocence, point towards what they perceive as progress, claim reverse racism, or shift the topic to someone like Al Sharpton.

Go study incarceration rates, the duality in drug sentencing, or the hiring rates based off the racial perception of a name.

Sweet sweet baby Jesus. How does someone this dumb make it through a day? Good to know he regrets saying it. Hard to fathom how someone that is a superintendent in an education system in 2018 could be this unintelligent and generally oblivious.
He doesn’t regret saying it...He regrets that it was posted to the public.

Lol... What “reverse racism” are you referring to?
Suffice it to say stupidity flows in more than one direction on this board daily. Such as the assumption that a person making a comment about how a smart QB who has a degree from Clemson might need to stay off of social media can be perceived as racism. I might would call that reverse racism. The assumption that said QB is doing such due to his skin color would be racism.

There are people on this site that argue that institutional racism doesn’t exist anymore and everyone has a fair shake these days. This guy is a textbook example of why that thought is wrong.

Another example say a qb who is logically a dual threat is opposed to being called a dual threat because he feels like dual threat is a code word for black. That is reverse racism.

I'm not denying the existence of racism, and people are entitled to their own thoughts and beliefs. No one can tell me what to believe or think. They can try but they wont be effective. But if you don't think racism exists in all races then you are lying to yourself. I'm here to tell you as long as man lives in a flesh world there will alway's be racism, pain, suffering, war, and death. Man just isn't spiritual enough to overcome these fleshly limitations. Racism is not a black, white, hispanic, or oriental problem. IT IS A FLESH MAN PROBLEM AND IT WILL DIE WITH THE FLESH.

There are people on this site who think that white male christians are being discriminated against.

Here's the denial I referenced above. Don't spiritualized an excuse for racism. Yes, it might be a "flesh man" problem, but that doesn't excuse you from seeking justice here on earth. Thy kingdom come, they will be done on EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.

Yeah - we might want to flush that......

Strange. Doesn't show in the thread but it does show when I quote it - at least in the posting window.

I did not spiritualize an excuse for racism I simply stated that racism exists on both sides and nothing will change that short of lack of human existence. I fail to see how you can cause me of denial when I stated it exists and you are not going to stop it. I think your reading comp is suffering a little. Believe me I've experienced plenty of racism in my life too buddy so get off my back because I ain't the one who peed in your cheerios.

Saying that it won't go away is a defeatist copout to relieve yourself from action. You doubled down by claiming victim status from racism. The inability to properly acknowledge racism is the greatest obstacle to solving the problem. You sir regurgitated two of the most common denial tools.

When libs talk about white fragility, this is exactly what they are talking about. At first i thought it was nonsense, but now i get it.

It won't go away and the more social justice warriors like yourself carry on the more you prove my point. I never denied it. I never supplied it but I still am forced to live with it. Furthermore I don't have to do anything about it. It is not my job to make people feel secure in themselves.

Sure sounds like some pansexual pseudo-intellectual term if ever I heard one. What makes you think I'm white?

I mean i wish it had another name like, just fagility or ego fragility or race fragility, but you are a clear cut case. Now you are scrambling to try to claim that if I think you are white it must be because Im racist. The fact is that you cannot face situations where white people act blatantly racist and NOT make excuses for them. Why? Because you are sticking up for your tribe. You get triggered, you are fragile. Hence, I think now that I've seen it in the wild, it has some merit.

I'm not a social justice warrior. I'm a white dude raising three black children. Racism that I was blind to, is no longer abstract but real. Your attempts to deny are predictable and tired.

Hey dude I'm not denying anything here except that that racism will ever be nonexistent I commend you for what you are doing. Racism however is akin to bullying it is one thing that unfortunately will happen. Zebras and antelope will get water at the same hole but that's about a's far as it goes. I'm not denying the existence of racism, I'm not denying that what was said is racist. I'm not condoning it just making a statement on it. Racism bullying war death these are all a part of life. That is all I said if you can't understand that then you don't understand the world.
