If this were that stock market it would be seen on the chart as a capitulation move.
We just elected the most corrupt criminal in presidential history, which gave him a free get out of jail card and now he's staffing his administration with a bunch of lawless ghouls, many of which have criminal prosecutions/investigations in their background.
The message is loud and clear - there is no such thing as right or wrong anymore and laws don't matter, so after dragging this man through hell for years simply to tarnish his father because he had the unmitigated gall to beat your orange clown, I say too bad, so sad. America has clearly spoken that justice is immaterial so kindly suck it if you don't like it.
I think the President is dead wrong on this and I think it is a very bad move to pardon his son and sets a pretty awful precedent for the country. Presidents using pardons as favors for friends/family/loyalists is something that should stop.
The ones who applaud the pardon have no class, but prefer instead to make excuses for Hunter.
Now that he's nominated Kash Patel, all bets are off because it signals he has no plans to fairly and impartiallly follow the law, which means he probably would have come down even harder on Hunter who has already been drug through hell the last five years.
I don't know, but my post wasn't about Biden and my reply was not to you. Go away. Anyone who cannot even agree that Trump was the victim of lawfare for political reasons doesn't have the intelligence to debate or be reasoned with about anything.
Every Democrat in my orbit laughs and agrees that lawfare is what happened. These attorneys are intellectually honest Democrats. They acknowledge the overwhelming evidence, and to their credit, they don't pretend it was anything other than that.
