I know that I am beating a dead horse here, but when will the NCAA change the targeting rule and at least remove the ejection portion of the rule. At a minimum, or at least a baby step in the right direction, they could have a flagrant 1 vs. 2 situation where the "2" is the ejection. I have never understood how targeting is an ejection, but a facemask penalty is not. In my opinion, a facemask is just as dangerous as you are potentially twisting the head/neck. Just doesn't make sense to me.
On another note - do the ejections still carry over to the next game if they are in the second half? Or was that changed to be just for the current game the penalty happens in?
