Completely agree here as far as the car company. I would have leaned more into battery and charging tech and licensing that out to others being the core business.

Truly I'm not sure about AI and it's such a young tech I don't know who is going to lead the way on that yet.

So Tesla told him to quit screwing around and get to work or they were replacing him.

It will be very interesting to see if Musk can reign it back in to focus, or his rumored drug use are indeed having a detrimental effect.

Tesla to announce after the close.

1) CyberTruck sales have been poor and below expectations. Not really a needle mover for the stock either way.
2) Brand damage - Is real. Anti-Elon hate probably causes about a 10% drop in sales.
3) Car sales remain low - This is expected due to switchover from old model Y to new model Y

4) Low Cost Vehicle - This is throwing everyone for a curveball. Is there a low cost vehicle coming? Is it the robotaxi? Until yesterday there were no clues, then some pics of what seemingly are robotaxi castings are released.

5) Is FSD going to be starting in June? When will FSD unsupervised be released?
6) Optimus?


7) Energy - has been outperforming. Really outperformed in the 4q of last year and i expect that to continue today.

Expectations are for the stock to move 11% once the news is released. Trading $236 now so expected range seems to be about $210 to $270
