Well pretty much every Democrat I’ve encountered pretty much thinks closing your business until some scientist says everyone is safe is the best thing for humanity at the moment, regardless if you lose everything you worked your whole like for or not. I’ve seen several literally be Twitter infuriated with my Governor for not closing down. So whatever you call that
Really broad strokes there. I generally vote democrat and I don't think we should shut everything down. I am currently working and we follow all safety protocols and use masks and take temps. I also understood why it was important to shut down initially to allow us time to get supplies and be able to work safely for ourselves and our clients. We were not able to buy sanitizer,masks,thermometers,etc in March.
I still do not understand why this has to be political and can't be based on common sense, medical realities,and personal choice. What this has taught me is that there are some real assholes out there who are selfish. There are also some really great people who supported local businesses and restaurants and were willing to do what it took to help out their fellow man. Those who chose to "Love their neighbor as thereselves"

Just a reminder that as Democrats we have minds of our own and have the ability to make decisions based on the most current "true" information. We don't goosestep to the fact-less marching orders of a screaming carrot clown-demon. So every Democrat you've encountered doesn't mean every Democrat. No Democrat I know wants a complete shutdown. As yoshi said, it made sense in the beginning and if we had complied a little bit longer, we could have drastically flattened the curve and possibly gotten a handle on it. At that time, businesses were literally being paid to shut down via the PPP funds. Unfortunately we let the cat out of the bag and opened Pandora's box so it's too late for that now. But there are pockets where we need to consider that tool, especially if the hospitals get overrun. However, if that happens, I'd hope the government would step in and provide businesses and the populations the means to see it through. We are just as concerned about people losing their livelihood as you are but we also understand that the bigger picture has to considered at the same time. In short, we're smarter than you.
You seem pretty smart but common sense tells me we can shut everything down for 6 months & when we open back up it’s going to be the same cycle all over again. All it takes is a couple people to start the spread again. Maybe the vaccines will help but I’ll pass on that, y’all help ya selfs ☠️
right, i'm sitting in my house in PA and the TV man comes on and tells me not to worry about going to a poll that they will send a ballot to my house and all i have to do is fill it out and mail it in. so, i trust the man in the TV and i wait. ballot arrives and i fill it out and send it in. my vote shouldn't count? if someone wanted to challenge this they could have done so, before it happened. might have even had legs at that time.
