Your stating in writing Trump is a rapist is putting you out there for libel. Just know you are NOT anonymous to the government. I spoke to my daughter who is an attorney and my other friends many who are attorneys, and they agree that this might be a blog, but making wild claims like you have puts the person making them into the danger zone.

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) has repeatedly declared his disdain for the spread of disinformation. However, he is consistently one of the many Democratic legislators guilty of doing it.On Monday, the California legislator falsely claimed that former President Donald Trump had been convicted of sexual assault.
"Donald Trump has been convicted of sexual assault," Swalwell tweeted. "And [House Speaker] Kevin McCarthy is all in with his sexually abusive pal."
Swalwell's tweet was completely wrong and even potentially libelous. Trump was not and has not ever been convicted of sexual assault. Rather he was found liable for battery and defamation. The two things are very different.
Swalwell's false statement was so egregious that he was viciously mocked by social media accounts throughout the country. Sarah Arnold from Townhall.com chronicled much of the pushback against the representative of California's 14th Congressional District. Many ridiculed Swalwell for lying or being ignorant.
Of course, just like much of what Swalwell claims, this was never true.
Usually, I would ask a hypothetical question: "When will congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA) ever learn?" But the truth is, he won't because he doesn't have to. Swalwell is never held accountable for his lack of honesty, so he can lie as often as he wants. Nevertheless, no one should trust anything Swalwell says without verifying his claims.
Very likely this law creating double jeopardy will be thrown out on appeal as a law was passed after the fact .Trump files appeal as the crazy woman announces she might sue him again for last night on cnn. LOL!!

Donald Trump was not found guilty of rape as some are spouting very loudly.
He was found in violation of a recently passed civil law that covered sexual abuse.
Based on this law Clinton both Hillary and Bill along with Joe Biden would be in jeopardy.

Nobody who calls Donald trump a rapist on a message board is ever going to be sued for doing it. If Trump were able to find some lawyer to file this lawsuit (highly unlikely, would be borderline unethical) there is a less than zero chance Trump would prevail in court. these are objective facts.
This fact pattern is basically the first case anyone studies in law school. this isn't about democratic talking points dumb dumb, we are talking about the law and defamation, and anyone telling you that theres a chance that a random person calling trump a rapist on the internet would face or lose a lawsuit for doing so is absolutely wrong. objectively.

man. donald trump is never ever going to win a case alleging some kind of defamation based on a posting on the internet calling him a rapist. The law isn't the same for you and me as it is for him. It's very difficult for a celebrity and/or a political candidate to recover anything under a defamation claim. courts and legislatures have decided that it's in the public interest to allow wild speculation and all kinds of other reckless or misinformed speech in the context of celebrities or political candidates.
this is not the case when it comes to regular citizens. my right to privacy is more important than the general public interest in knowing what I'm doing. or, more specifically, my right to not have someone say wild shit about me is stronger, since nobody cares about me. if everyone did care about me and i were a politician or a celebrity, then wild speculation is ok because there is public interest.
