Opened this thread expecting to see something about Texas… or OSU…. or USCjr… or ANY college football team.
I can’t understand why we allow them to represent our country.
Considering the level of oppression those girls face on a daily basis, it's surprising that none of them have defected yet

They are really pathetic. You watch other nations in the Men’s or Women’s World Cup and they’re always belting out the anthem. Our country really has some incredibly spoiled and entitled individuals.
Watch the USMNT - most don’t sing it either.

The men have been almost as poor, but at least they weren’t kneeling during the anthem. We’re literally the only nation in the world that kneels and doesn’t sing during the anthem. It’s embarrassing.

Candidly, I didn’t watch it. The kneeling part is dumb, especially since they won their fight with USSF. What else are they pissed off about now?

IDK. They got some kid that transferred in from somewhere again. Supposedly he’s pretty good. I know they have a Littlejohn who’s a baller at WR. I don’t follow as closely as I used to - basically since my son was born in ‘16. Plus, I used to go all the games until they built the new stadium at the new school and the atmosphere just isn’t the same anymore. I think that’s the main reason I don’t follow as much.

It’s not even close man. I get that the old stadium was dated, home seating sucked, parking sucked, logistics and seating for visiting fans sucked, but all of that was part of what made it special. Teams and their fans hated to come there, but they still did it. I’ve seen so many classic high school games in that stadium. There’s teams that came to play there, got manhandled, and refused to ever come back.
Hopefully they'll be put in jail in Russia for awhile.
Well first of all.. contrary to public opinion they or no one is mandated to sing the anthem, nor are they required to put their hands over their hearts. If you have not heard of it; maybe one can reference the First Amendment. When you have unequal treatment toward women and women sports in general, you tend to get some of these reactions. When you have old gray ass men telling women women what they can/cannot do with their own bodies, or who they can love, then you might begin to understand how they are feeling. And the most telling point is they probably don’t give a damn as to what some of you all think.
They probably care as much about my opinion as I do about watching them play soccer.
Just another reason for me not to watch ... oh wait ... I will never watch soccer anyway....

I have hoped that team would lose every match they played. Would love to see them be blown out repeatedly. Only American team i have ever pulled against.
