I think using the phrase "gender inequity" combined with purple hair is a pretty standard issue trigger for many.

Yes, statistically speaking, men have different body geometry. But on the individual “dummy” level there is not a significant difference between male and female body parts in response to a crash.
You can have a 6’3 275lb out of shape female, just the same as you could have a male. You can have a diminutive male just the same as a small female.
What specifically would be different in the dummy? Boobs and vagina? Do those body parts respond differently in a crash? Do we really need to study the difference between how boobs and vagina respond in a crash verse no boobs and a penis? Sounds utterly ridiculous to me.

If I were asked to design a test it would be for the worse case analysis which would be in the reverse order a baby, child,female adult then male adult
That would probably be impractical so more than likely I would use a female dummy of about 150 pounds and 5 foot 6 inches or maybe create a middle of the road dummy with a lot of all the different nuances
Point is just create a test dummy that provides data that is usable

This post is an example of when people get angry about anything without first thinking about it simply because it came from a Democrat. What she said is entirely legitimate. Now that being said, if you ask her why she saying there's a difference between men and women in this case that's another matter.
