Legendary writer Wright Thompson will be in Clemson tomorrow.
My man Otis Pickett, the Clemson University historian, is good friends with Wright and brought him here to discuss his new book: The Barn: The Secret History of a Murder in Mississippi on the murder of Emmett Till.
Wright is also the author of the splendid work Pappyland: A Story of Family, Fine Bourbon, and the Things That Last.
On top of that he was responsible for the definitive long-form features on Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Joe Montana, and probably others I can't recall off the top of my head.
