I spent a few years in the US Army's 1st Armored Division (Old Ironsides) in Germany (1978-1981) during the Cold War. I swore an oath at enlistment that I would protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against enemies foreign and
domestic. At that time the enemy foreign who were communists and marxists. Today the enemy is still communists and marxists who are now
domestic. How did we get to this point? It really took decades from an enemy who knew the American system could not be defeating in a conventional battle, but a battle from within, and that would take time.
In my generation, or slightly before, the enemy's first target was the American education system. The Marxists first conquered the teachers unions, then teachers and educators themselves within colleges and universities, teaching communist and marxist ideologies to those students in those schools who would listen and embrace them. this radical teaching continued to get stronger. This happened while many of that (my) generation were going through the 'hippy' and 'peace, love and harmony', apparently not concerned with what was happening in their backyards. So essentially I blamed the generation of my parents, who already knew there was a communist element within this country as shown during the Joseph McCarthy communist hearings in April through June of 1954. We all knew they were here in this country trying to subvert and over through, but the politicians of that day just blew it off.
A former KGB agent named Yuri Alexandrovich Bezmenov claimed in 1984 that Russia has a long-term goal of ideologically subverting the U.S. He described the process as "a great brainwashing" that has four basic stages. The first stage, he said, is called "demoralization," which would take about 20 years to achieve. Yuri Alexandrovich Bezmenov, who defected to Canada in 1970. He claimed to know details of a Soviet plan to undermine the U.S., not on the battlefield but in the psyche of the American public.
In 1984, Bezmenov gave an interview to G. Edward Griffin from which much can be learned today. His most chilling point was that there’s a long-term plan put in play by Russia to defeat America through psychological warfare and “demoralization.” It’s a long game that takes decades to achieve but it may already be bearing fruit.
Bezmenov made the point that the work of the KGB mainly does not involve espionage, despite what our popular culture may tell us. Most of the work, 85% of it, was “a slow process which we call either ideological subversion, active measures, or psychological warfare.”
This involved causing religious, social, ethnic, and racial tensions within the American society. Harmful teaching about the American past to cause racial division, and also with teachings to the students of that day, which were mainly confined within the colleges and universities, but as you can see now has worked its way down to the K through 12. The LBGT and CRT teachings are part of this 'demoralization' process. And what is so bad is that after a couple of generations or so of this marxist teaching, it now has become accepted theory. Many of the college students you debated with and try to show them anything get loud and wide-eyed mouth-frothing idiots. Case in point:
The recent video of the South Carolina children's choir that had permission to sing the American National Anthem in the Capitol were on video singing it beautifully. You see this woman to and two others off to the side talking, looking, and pointing to children singing. Then one guy come over to the choir conductor, clearly telling him to stop the singing, then the conductor tell the children to stop, while those three are still seen looking on. So the conductor goes over to the lady (with two witnesses) who was clearly in charge of the situation, asked her why they could not sing, She said them singing the National Anthem in the Capitol was deemed a protest, and protests were not allow in the Capitol. So the conductor tells her that he had permission from the two South Carolina congressmen and Kevin McCarthy (Speaker of the House) and that this is clearly not a protest, and the conductor said she got rude and angry saying you don not have permission, and this singing caused others to complain.
Later on, the two South Carolina congressmen and Kevin McCarthy did indeed say that they were invited and had permission. But that idiot Marxist lady who had something to do with the Capitol Police still said in a statement that they did not have permission, even though it was proven that they did, and she claims that she allowed them to finish the song, when it is clearly on the video that she sent the guy to tell them to stop, and the video and audio shows that the singing stoped in the middle of a verse.
My point here is show show just how bad these Communist and Marxists want to go to push their anti-American ideology, that even when the video evidence is clear, and congressional evidence is clear, she still denies it!!!
