Transgender “Open” Division

Thanks for pointing out XO ect….. I appreciate you trying to make me look insensitive. Let’s get back to the subject and please stay off of syndromes
I wasn't trying to make you look insensitive. However, your comment "XX or XY... it's simple" is obviously wrong in 100% of the population

Honestly, where is this an issue? I keep seeing comments about the Olympics but the IOC has pretty clear rules on this:

The group recommends that individuals undergoing sex reassignment from male to female after puberty (and vice versa) be eligible for participation in female or male competitions, respectively, under the following conditions:

-Surgical anatomical changes have been completed, including external genitalia changes and gonadectomy

-Legal recognition of their assigned sex has been conferred by the appropriate official authorities

-Hormonal therapy appropriate for the assigned sex has been administered in a verifiable manner and for a sufficient length of time to minimise gender-related advantages in sport competitions.

In the opinion of the group, eligibility should begin no sooner than two years after gonadectomy.

It is understood that a confidential case-by-case evaluation will occur.

In the event that the gender of a competing athlete is questioned, the medical delegate (or equivalent) of the relevant sporting body shall have the authority to take all appropriate measures for the determination of the gender of a competitor.

Lots of continued conversation and no one has brought concrete examples of this being an issue.

In this thread? There hasn't been shit. Your response is proof that you don't have any.
If you dont think a man pretending to be a woman and then competing in womens sports is wrong, there's not going to be anything any can say. It's like a 20 year old pretending to be 12 so he can compete in little league. And yes, both are equally ridiculous.

Have you provided an example of there this is happening? No one has in this thread. But go ahead and keep fearing the new Fox News bogeyman.

Look bro, I'm sorry your dad is woman....he still cant play womens sports. Sorry....praying for yall
Damn, you really don't have an argument if you are resorting to made-up, petty insults.
Nice try. Come back when you have a concrete example, if that ever happens.

Glad you admit that you are wrong and have no proof that this is actually an issue. Have a good weekend.
Fc, not trying to be combative. But what about the lady that had all the weightlifting records in New Zealand and lost all of them in one week-end after the male weightlifter transitioned. She also lost her spot on the Olympic team and was told to reclassify to a different weight class to have a chance (she had to lose a ton of weight). The MMA fighter that transitioned cracked the skull of the female MMA fighter in their fight. Or the female track and field athlete in Connecticut that lost 4 state championships to the transwoman athlete and ended up in countless second places. What about Hannah Mouncey? Former Australian football player who was listed at 6”3 and 230+ pounds for the female world handball championship and crushing people:

Not saying it’s a complete takeover but just from googling around and reading articles about the topic (it’s been a hot topic on the internet), it is not the non-issue you seem to think it is. There is a safety and fairness issue.

I appreciate your response. I was surprised to have read through nearly 2 pages of posts on the topic without one single example being provided.

I think that there are smart biomedical scientists, doctors and athletes that can work up a reasonable solution for everyone involved, as is the case with all of the other rules set for Olympic competition. Even without transgendered athletes there are already rules in place to make sure women who are born with hyperandrogenism (too much testosterone) are able to compete without the advantage of their medical condition.

Taking a look at the 3 examples that you provided, I think there are definitely still some things that need to be worked out. I think the best argument that I saw in stories on the three that you mentioned is bone density differences. Maybe some kind of rule around that should be added to the IOC's rules regarding those who transition.

I genuinely do not know what the right answer is in all situations. If someone transitions at age 25, is that different than doing so closer to the onset of puberty? If someone has a congenital condition, like Oscar Pistorius, should that person be able to compete with prosthetic limbs or is that too large of an advantage? I trust that the leaders of each sport will be smart enough to work out a sheet of rules that do not give anyone an advantage over another person but I could be swayed otherwise by the right argument.

I appreciate the response as well.

I don’t have any answers either and unfortunately, the issue has become politicized and both sides tend to stick to ideologies and demonize the other side. So, it’s likely that one side will “prevail” over a frustrated other side instead of finding a reasonable middle ground. Covid, elections, everything is a partisan issue these days, people don’t seem to like to use reason anymore…

Your posts ITT make you look like an illiterate moron...

When asked for examples, your response is a bunch of nonsense right wing buzzwords about being triggered? You are obviously the triggered one here.
Guess what bro, there are only 2 genders. And God dont make mistakes!✊

Oh, its 100% right when you ignore all of these other situations... I guess you are correct there. Congrats

I’m confused, are we talking about transgender athletes or a lesson in genetics? You are stating the obvious which HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ORIGINAL SUBJECT.

I just hope it affects the 85 for football. That's all it will take for this to go away
Nah just let some girl that's gotten though the ringer by pulling the Trans card get in the field with someone of XTs caliber and get straight up murdered and it'll be over with then. I know this is more about the gheys dudes trying to compete in women's sports but would be funny nonetheless
